Legal Terms
Penweet
These Legal Terms (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Penweet, a creative community platform for showcasing portfolio work, publishing stories, joining teams, messaging other creatives, discovering design jobs, and managing privacy settings. By creating an account or using Penweet, you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
Penweet provides tools for creatives and agencies to build public profiles, upload portfolio projects, share time-limited stories, collaborate in teams, exchange messages, and explore freelance and full-time design opportunities. Features may evolve as we improve the product.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@penweet.com promptly.
3. Your content and license
You retain ownership of portfolio work, stories, profile text, and other content you upload. You grant Penweet a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely as needed to operate and promote the service (for example, showing projects on Discover or in search results). You represent that you have the rights needed to upload and share your content and that it does not infringe others’ intellectual property or privacy rights.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use Penweet lawfully and respectfully. You must not upload illegal, harmful, or deceptive content; harass other users; attempt unauthorized access; scrape the platform in abusive ways; or misuse messaging, teams, jobs, or reporting tools. We may remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the community.
5. Privacy, messaging, and visibility
Your profile, portfolio, stories, and other activity may be visible according to the privacy settings you choose and the product defaults described in our Privacy Policy. Messaging and team interactions are intended for professional creative collaboration. Do not use Penweet to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages at scale.
6. Jobs and opportunities
Job and freelance listings on Penweet are provided for discovery. Penweet does not guarantee employment outcomes and is not a party to hiring agreements between users and employers unless separately agreed in writing.
7. Third-party services
Penweet may integrate optional sign-in providers or links to external sites. Those services are governed by their own terms and policies.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Penweet is provided on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law of the country where Penweet operates, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated in these Terms and limit liability for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users where practical.
